A Family Business Built on Quality Tree Care
WK Arboriculture was founded in 2015 by Billy Heaton, a Wirral-based arborist with a passion for trees, safety, and honest craftsmanship. What started as a local tree surgery operation has grown into one of Wirral's most trusted family-run arboricultural businesses - serving homeowners, landlords, and local authorities across Wirral and Chester.
Billy holds NPTC qualifications across all core tree surgery disciplines, and all work is carried out to the British Standard BS 3998 for tree work. We are fully insured for both domestic and commercial jobs, and hold CSCS cards for construction site access - so whether you need a garden tree tidied or a large commercial site cleared, we have the qualifications and insurance to do it properly.
We cover all of Wirral and Chester, including Heswall, Bebington, West Kirby, Hoylake, Neston, Bromborough, Eastham, Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead, Wallasey, and Chester. We offer free, no-obligation quotations across our entire service area.

All operatives hold National Proficiency Tests Council (NPTC) qualifications - the industry standard for professional arboricultural work in the UK. All work carried out to BS 3998.

WK Arboriculture carries comprehensive public liability insurance for both domestic and commercial tree surgery. We are happy to provide proof of insurance on request before any work begins.
CSCS Certified
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card holders, allowing us to work on commercial construction sites and developments across Wirral and Cheshire.

Our Environmental Commitment
We are committed to responsible arboricultural practice. Timber from felled trees is recycled wherever possible - milled into furniture, split for firewood, or chipped for mulch. We encourage replanting after removals, advise on appropriate species for the site conditions, and support the long-term health of Wirral's tree canopy.
